Introduction to School of Freedom (Dari)

In this video, Rafiullah Sadiq, MD, MICHA, CIRH's Refugee Health Navigator, sits down with Najiullah Walid Jailani, the Founder and President of the School of Freedom, to explore how this groundbreaking initiative is transforming education for Afghan girls and refugee youth.

The School of Freedom was created to provide accessible, culturally responsive education for Afghan girls who have been banned from schooling under Taliban rule and for refugee and newcomer youth in the U.S. Through remote learning, after-school tutoring, community mentorship, and academic advising, the program centers dignity, safety, and opportunity, empowering students to reclaim their right to learn.

This Dari-speaking video includes both a presentation and a Q&A session.
